Description

I've been working on a novel/ graphic novel idea for a while now and this is one of the characters. This is also literally the first time I've sat down and created something from scratch using a wacom tablet. I'm much more the pencil-ink-magic marker type. Took about 2 hours.

Not bad, but the proportions are kind of... not right. Unless you wanted them to be, that is. A little highlighting on the hair would do good, too.

(Now I should stop talking. I'm viewing this on a veeery bad screen, every pic turns out bad, and many colours are mainly consisting of spots... The gfx colour theme turns out more grey than blue in the edges. :( )

Thanks for the critique. It's all appreciated.

I'll play with highlighting the hair to give it a little more intensity.
The proportions are off, but like you hinted at, that's intentional. I've been trying to make my figures a lot... longer. Kinda taking the '8-heads high' thing to the extreme. So many of my older drawings feature 'stubby' superheroes. :)

Thanks again.

I love the way you've drawn her torso, especially the waist-very sexy angle. Also love the way she's slipping her overalls off. Her arm is also nice, very graceful. Elongating the figure is working great but I think there is something about her shoulders thats a lil weird. Maybe they are a lil too wide but I think those shoulders are too masculine, us ladies are narrower up there, lol. Great work although I think you could develop the face and hair to be up to the same standard as the body.
